Sixteen volunteers from various JP Morgan Chase offices came together to bridge the gap in Kateri’s nature trail, building a 20-foot bridge over marshy swampland. The group proved their fitness as they carried over 40 pieces of lumber down a steep wooded slope and, even more trying, hauled rotted beams back up the hill. As always, the JP Morgan volunteers were happy to help in any way that they could. Several volunteers worked on a mailing for Kateri during the day, while others stayed after the bridge was done to mulch the trails for Haunted Night Hike. Organized by new Collier Services Board of Directors member Lou Riehl, this volunteer project was part of JP Morgan Chase's annual Global Day of Caring initiative.
