Every single camper who comes to Kateri Day Camp this summer will receive a brand new backpack filled with beach towels, water bottles and t-shirts so that they will be prepared for all the summer fun coming their way at Kateri. Even the counselors received a bag that they can use for school! This extremely generous donation, which totaled over 400 backpacks, was organized by volunteers at Prudential Property & Casualty in Holmdel. Prudential volunteers encouraged their co-workers to get involved by either bringing in a new towel or making a donation toward the purchase of new towels - they even bargained with local stores to get the best deal possible! We applaud and thank our friends at Prudential for their creativity and perseverance in ensuring that our campers are well-equipped for their summer at Kateri.
